So I was gonna write about the discussed last journal but I'll do it another time. I mean I still got till October to rant :)

In other news. I've decided to go through with the XD sequel. I will be doing it in UDK. The program is entirely free so that's super and the engine is supposedly easy to modify. I mean its going to need one hell of a modification but if I can do it, it'll be really cool. For the moment though, my laptop isn't that powerful to make a game using the software and since it's my b'day like tomorrow, I've discussed it with dad and he's gonna get me a desktop computer for uni but I can make it powerful to do game dev as well.

What is the news you ask, well I'm currently undecided about the art style for the game. Basically I've kind of fell in love with a more realistic style but then if I wanna do that, how do I do the Pokemon. I mean, I'm inexperienced, there is no way for me to make a mon, I mean buildings yeah they are easy, an actual animated creature. This is some big shit. I could get away by using the models that exist and retexturing them but I feel like that will only work for some Pokemon and not for others. So yeah. I mean I'll prolly move towards the style that's in Poke Park 2 or will keep in line with XD depending on how easy it'll be for me to acquire the models so I can look at and analyse.

I guess while I'm at it I'll mention too that I don't know how to acquire the models themselves. At the moment there was a discussion on ripping them from Battle Revolution which would be useful cause that's gens 1 - 4 and the Poke Park series basically covers gen 5 with a couple exceptions where all the models have already been ripped. What I'm thinking now though is if it is possible to rip them from the pokedex pro because that has all them in it which gives me the greatest pool of Pokemon to choose from to use. Their is only going to be about 2 to 300 Pokemon in the region. I mean I wanna be restrictive, shine certain Pokemon in the spot light that might get ignored. Although I might program all 600+ in the game and make a side app to access all of them. Although it'll prolly get taken down if I put on app store or whatever but hey, Android can download apps of anywhere whereas I think Apple is restricted to the Store. Oh well, I don't like Apple anyway. It'll encourage people to buy Android and make it even more popular mwahahahaha.

Yeah,
Parting words of the night: I'm gonna rock your socks off
Read into it what you will, I know you's won't read it hahahahaha :/

Yeah sorry I haven't been interactive lately. Uni is a lot more time intensive then I had expected to be. I've been working non stop since I started and at the moment, my thoughts can be seen as slightly obsessive because all I can think about now is building design. I'm like doing it right now (I even just spelt right as Wright as in Frank Lloyd Wright).

Pretty much been unable to work on anything. Haven't really had time to go through my messages so gonna do that now. Why? Because holidays. YAY. I'll have some time to work on tiles, hopefully I can get one of the sets done; there is 3 or 4 I was working on. I have been working on my games though by doing environment concepts so their is some progress at least in that area.

I am a little bit sad about stuff regards to game design. I might make a journal about it, might not. Pretty much gonna be about fakemon and how disappointed I am with gen 5, gen 6 and other people. It'll probably be a short one so keep an eye out for that one cause I really want your opinion. It will contain a little bit of spoilers maybe from Lithium and Titanium so if you have been keeping tabs and trying to follow the development of that then you finally get some legit information on that for once.

Oh and yeah, got Simcity. Loving it. Feel free to add me on Origin. My name is NoTimeStudios and yeah, just leave a comment or send me a message or whatever notifying me its you so I know who I'm adding.

Thanks for reading,

I was invited to take part of the second beta that happened yesterday and it was so fun. I was gonna make journal before to see if anyone else was in it so I could add em and test the network features if it was possible (considering they were pushing leader boards this time round I figured they had that stuff in it as well), but yeah, didn't really do that. None the less, it was really great. I like how it plays and how the land develops itself this time round. There was a bit of awkwardness with the road tool but I think that's because its more freer then it used to be (you can do curved roads which are kind of addictive. I think most of my cities had them). I like the way the buildings look in this game, in fact the entire game is really pretty. I actually kind of like the industrial stuff as well and took a fair amount of pictures of industrial stuff. Oh yeah, they were pushing us to take pictures this time round so I think your free to upload them. I'm spewing though cause my last city which was my best I couldn't really a) finish and b) take pictures of because they were turning the servers off because the beta was over and its like "You have 30 seconds to save your progress before the game closes" or something along those lines so I couldn't really get pictures of everything considering I was running two cities at once which is a shame. It was also kind of annoying too because you could only do the gambling city specifications in the beta even though the second city was loaded with oil and ore and would have been really useful for building a mining town. I'm glad I preordered SimCity when I did because it's how I got into the beta. I made sure to preorder the Collectors Edition as well but I'm a little disappointed that it comes with the London stuff; I really wanted the Paris stuff instead but whatever.

Last night, I went on Serebii to check something and on the main page there was an update for a CoroCoro leak showing the artwork for the male character (ugly by the way) and confirming that Yveltal was dragon/dark type. So I look at that instead, close the tab then realise I had to check something so I open it again and the update was gone. I know there is a new one now; Ninfia is the dumbest looking 6th gen Pokemon so far in my opinion and will probably be either flying or normal type, not important at the moment though. Like did anyone else see the other update or am I just going crazy? Was it a fake, is that why it was taken down? I don't know so please help me out here.

Firstly, I got an offer for the course I wanted to do at Uni which pretty much means, I'm in ><
I'm so excited cause I was doubting myself so much which was making me a bit moody and having a bit of a creative block.

Secondly, I wanted to do a recap of my adventures in Sydney and I might upload some pics here and on my other gallery but for now, Sydney recap. I'm writing in the order of what I did with my family but keeping it location based so if I did two things in one place on two different days, its under the same heading.

Planes and airports
It was my first time on the plane so that was a really weird experience for me. I sat on the aisle when I was going but when I was coming back I sat next to the window and that was really cool. The farm lands we flew over kinda looked like a cross between water patterns and wood textures. The only thing that sucked was that I wasn't feeling to well on the way back and I couldn't get my jacket to warm myself up. I didn't really like what I saw of the Sydney airport, it was really big and confusing, I much rather the one here.

Manley
We went to Manley for a little bit and I really like what I saw. The main downer for me here was that I don't like the beach or the ocean. It makes me motion sick to look at and sand just really annoys me. The area though was really nice and I liked the outdoor mall. I was feeling a little homesick at the time we went there but being the mall was nice cause it reminded me of Rundle Mall here in Adelaide. We then went to the ferry terminal and watched one of them come in. The best bit though was when we were on the way back, we went down a side street and I found an Adriano Zumbo store and I was like, OMFG. It was so good. I got 6 of his macarons and I brought a recipe book for his macarons which I can't wait to use (It's too hot to make them at the moment). And before coming back to Adelaide, I brought another six, although they kinda melted a little bit.

New Years
New Years was kinda boring. The one thing about Sydney is that the firework at the harbour is considered one of the worlds best (or something like that anyway) and since we were there, why would you want to miss out. Well some of my cousins decided to go to some park or beach to watch the fireworks and they asked if we (me and my sister) wanted to go with them. My sister said no and I thought about it, but then said no as well as I didn't want to be too crowded cause I don't like being around a lot of people. So initial plans were that we were going to go watch the fireworks at some other beach at 9:00 then go back to my cousins house to watch the Sydney harbour fireworks from there (you can see the high ones from there balcony). That didn't happen cause my rents and my cousin got a little tipsy so we were stuck at his place and my sister didn't enjoy it. I wasn't fussed though, I had my macaron book and my PSP to keep entertained. We had the TV going at the same time to see the lower fireworks and here the music they are normally synced to but it wasn't as good as the fireworks normally are.

Ferries
The first time we went to the city, we went by the ferry from Manley to Circular Quay. I don't really like boats and it was a bit of a windy day the water was a bit choppy but the ferry ride was alright. When we got nearer to the quay, I got some pictures of the Sydney skyline, the bridge and the opera house, cause it's not like anyone has done it before.

Sydney Opera House
When we got to Circular Quay, we just started heading to the opera house cause I've always wanted to see it. It is really impressive and we took pictures on the steps and some other tourists asked me and my sister to take pictures of them on their cameras which was annoying. The inside was really nice but the only way to see the majority of the building was to be on a tour and they were really expensive. So we mostly hanged out at the gift store cause parents were looking around trying to think of gifts to buy. They had the Lego Architecture set for the opera house and I really wanted it but the rents said no, whatever haters. I saw a door open to a space and what looked like a tour group coming out I snuck in past the guide but he saw me and he was like please come back here, this space is for tour groups and I was like sure whatever and we kinda talked about the space so I got some tour guide info for free.

The Rocks
After the opera house, we walked all the way around the quay again to go to the MCA (Museum of Contemporary Art) because I really like modern art and wanted to go see the exhibits. We went there but then decided to go to lunch first so we went down some side streets that had stores and cafes and went to Wok-on-In for lunch. The food was really nice and I nabbed some chopsticks to take home as souvenirs. After that the family decided to go the botanical gardens and I went to the gallery instead. It was amazing. Mum gave me money to see the pay exhibition which was works by Anish Kapoor. On the ground floor in this big exhibition space was the sculpture thing that was a pile of Mars red wax which was being smoothed out by this mechanical hammer thing that was going around in circles. It was really surreal which was the perfect way to get a feeling of what was to come. Upstairs was the full exhibition space  for Kapoor's work and it was all these weird pieces made from mirrors and reflective surfaces that messed with you mind. There was also some pieces made out of sandstone and some pieces that when you looked into it, it looked like an infinite void. The best piece though was this big I don't know what to call it other then tank thing that took up most of the room. The colour of it was just so inspiring. There was this small corner people were walking to (you had to duck underneath it a bit to access the other side) which was darker then the rest of the room due to the big as tank thing blocking the light but just standing there looking up at it was very awe inspiring and very serene.

After looking through Kapoor's exhibition, I went to see the collection of art the gallery has and quite enjoyed some of the stuff I saw. It annoys me that I can't remember any of the artists names so I can't really tell you what I liked but one piece that stuck out was this dangling thing made out of colourful metal strips that looked really cool but the best part was the reflection of the light on the floor, it looked like water. When I finished looking through the collection I went down another floor to see another exhibition that was called Taboo. It was interesting but it didn't really interest me that much. When I met up with my family, we went back to the quay to figure our way back to the house we were staying at. So we went over to this little plaza area that this really cool water feature thing with all these  different fountains and we got Starbucks, which was awesome (their isn't any here in Adelaide hence why it was exciting, although it looked a like Gloria Jeans, just the interior was lighter in colour).

Darling Harbour and Ultimo (I'm a place XD)
The next day we went to Darling Harbour and did stuff there. First we got some breakfast from this really neat cafe then walked to Madame Tussaud's. That place was epic! It was so cool to see all the wax people and they were so lifelike. The start is kinda boring cause its all history stuff /yawn but then you get in more and you have celebs. I got a picture with Albert Einstein which was cool but whoever propped him up put him in a really sassy pose. We also spent like a lot of money on getting more gifts for family and friends back home and brought a photo album to put all the pictures we took in Tussaud's.

From there we caught this little trolley/train/motorised people moving device to take us from the harbour up to Chinatown and Ultimo. We didn't exactly go into Ultimo which sucked cause it sounded like it had a lot of stuff I like. But that fact it has stuff I like and is called Ultimo and my name on dA is UltimoSpriter is awesome. We went to the Powerhouse Museum there and It had a lot of really cool stuff. There was this collection of steam powered devices which has inspired me for a town in Li &Ti. There was also an exhibition on experiments which had all this stuff you could touch and play around with. I went to the nuclear science section and was all like pfft I know this shit. Then there was another exhibition on space which made my day cause I love space. They also had life size models of some of the chamber things from I think either the ISS or the space shuttles. They also had a model of a satellite and a model of the rocket engine thing (where the fire comes out from) which I really didn't enjoy standing underneath because I was so paranoid that it would turn on some how and cook me or fall and squash me, two situations that weren't possible.

When we finished there we walked to the Chinese Garden of Friendship, so beautiful guys. If you ever go to Sydney, do check it out as it is very awe inspiring. Walking through it, you feel so calm and relaxed. It was probably for me, the highlight of the trip. Everything about it was so perfect. When we finished walking through it, we brought some Chinese tea and just planned what to do next. This was to go over to Hard Rock Café and get some more gifts. I didn't want to go but I still went none the less. When we finished, we hoped on to the monorail after waiting for a carriage that had enough room to fit me, my sister and my mum. The monorail was another new experience for me as I had never been on one before. It was really cool and would have been slightly more enjoyable if there wasn't so many people in our carriage. We took the Monorail to another outside mall on Market Street because I wanted to go to the Westfield there as it had a Ladurée store. Everything in that Westfield was designer. We were all freaking out. They had like the proper boutiques there and it was so good. None the less, I went to Ladurée and brought some more macarons which were so amazing, but so expensive compared to the Zumbo ones, but so worth it. I was going to get this long sleeve shirt thing that I could style as a jacket on days where its not cold, but at the same time, not hot either. Worst idea ever. At General Pants Co (which we have here and isn't very designer but I thought why not, they have sales on) it was $50 which was fair enough, I guessed. At Guess, it was $80 and at Harrods ... $320 (I went to Guess, Harrods cause it was next door then General). I'll just get it from Jay Jays, same quality, same material but $20.

Luna Park
Being in Sydney, we had to go to Luna Park. It was really cool. I probably would have enjoyed if I went with friends then family and had money to burn cause it was expensive to do anything. Although I think it was cheaper then going on the rides at the Adelaide Show. Because we went late and had one of the little ones with us, we couldn't stay out for long so we only went on the ferris wheel but we did go for a walk around the area to see what there is. I really like the carnival atmosphere and might do an area in Li & Ti based on Luna Park and I know just the place as well.

Taronga Zoo
On our last day in Sydney (cause we were leaving the next day at like 8 in the morning) we went to the zoo. It was nice but I didn't really enjoy it much. No it's not like because I'm a person who is like, animals don't belong caged up, its because I just don't find zoos interesting. I will say that the set up is much better then the Adelaide Zoo. A rough example of how, the otter enclosure at our zoo is about the size of my room and there is maybe 7-10 of 'em. At Taronga, the enclosure is about the size of 4 of my rooms and all I saw was like 5 otters. I like otters. I also saw the tiger which seemed pretty aggravated for some reason but everything else at the zoo was either hiding at the back of the enclosure or in amongst the plants cause it was a scorcher day. The red pandas were easy to spot, I like red pandas too. I was a bit jelly of Taronga Zoo having elephants. All we have is pandas and its because of them that the price for our zoo sky-rocketed.

Walsh Bay
Walsh Bay was our last stop in Sydney. We were taken out for dinner there to a restaurant on the waterfront (wharf front?) called Ventuno. It was so good there. On a designer stand point, the style of the venue was presented very well and had a really good modern feel which I enjoyed. On a foodee stand point, the food was amazing. We ordered this entrée thing that all these different foods and they were are really nice, except the calamari, I don't like calamari /pokes tongue at calamari. I then got a pizza which was really nice but made the stupid decision not to split it with anyone so I wasted like half of it. I then got the tiramisu. Best tiramisu ever! Like I would literally go back to Sydney just for that tiramisu. All in all though, it was really good food, but really expensive so if you life in Sydney, lucky you, save your cash and go. If your on a budget holiday, put away a lot of cash if you plan on going. The buildings on the wharf though were really nice to look at.

Closing point
All in all, I really enjoyed Sydney. I want to go back, but I might go with my friends so I can enjoy it with them. I dunno, I don't really get along well with my family. I mean don't get me wrong, I love 'em, doesn't mean I have to enjoy their company though. So yeah. If you live in or around Sydney, kinda jelly. I'm still aiming to live in Melbourne but I definitely want to work on projects in Sydney in my future. If you don't, visit Sydney at least once in your lifetime. Plan for a week though, cause their is a lot to see and do and you don't want to tire yourself.

On a side note, if you read this, thank you. It took me like 3 hours to type, so give yourself a pat on the back for being super and probably part of the 1% of my views that actually cares about my journals.

Well the excitement of X and Y is over now for me, speculating right now is far to open since we aren't really given much to go with. I'm probably more excited for The Sims 3 University Life and Island Paradise expansion packs that were also announced. Time to get back to work on Li & Ti I think. Don't want to be working on it when Gen 7 is announced that's for sure. I need to figure out how to upload text stuff cause I wrote some explanations of features I want my games to have.

Well only just one :)

Nah so I got some stuff done on holiday but only one tileset done so oh well.

I hope everyone had a good Christmas; I know I did. Gots me a PS3 and I've been spending all my cash on games but I should have saved some because I'm going to Sydney, like, tomorrow. Like at 6:20 tomorrow night I'm boarding a plane for the first time ever and actually going to be going out of my state for the first time as well ><

Unfortunately, I won't be anywhere near my laptop for a week so I can't really work on anything but I'll see what I can do in the meantime. I should be able to stay online cause I'll be staying with my cousins and I'm pretty sure they will have wifi.

Also the reason why last journal I asked who was from Sydney was because I wanted to know what there is to do in Sydney since I've never been.

Oh and have a happy new year everyone. Stay safe and see you guys in 2013

It's weird though cause I still haven't finished my art yet, it'll be done though tomorrow so yeah

So, yeah that's where I've been since July.

Lemme explain. Basically, I'm the idiot that doesn't do work when he should so because of that, I got behind in a lot of work so I had to focus and get it done. As soon as I got stuff done, I'd be given something new to do and the cycle repeats itself. In the past couple of weeks I've had my exams which I presume I failed at :( Oh well, shit happens and yeah. I've almost finished my art course which is amazing and I'm going to upload a lot of pictures of stuff I've done throughout the year because I'm really proud of it, especially my two final pieces.

None the less, due to me being busy, I sort of stayed away from DA but I've been keeping up to date by checking in on my phone every day pretty much cause I got a new phone now (Samsung Galaxy S2) which I love.

Oh, since school is technically over and I'll be graduating soon (19th of November to be exact) I'll be having 4 months of holidays till Uni or Tafe so you know what that means, I can get back to work on not only the tile project, but have some playable content of Lithium and Titanium done as well, WOO.

So yeah, I'll do a journal later this week about my school endeavours since their quite fun.
Umm, if you aren't watching it, follow my other account :iconnotimestudios: It's still me, just for my Sims stuff.
Also, add me on Steam. I keep forgetting to find other people that use it so yeah, my username on the network is No Time Studios and my dp is the clock logo I use.
Other then that,

Their may be spoilers depending on what your watching at the moment, just a word to the wise :)

= Legend of Korra =
I found it by some random art on DA and was like "wait what, their is a second series of Avatar ... wait Avatar finished?" I feel in love with it I mean it has New York, Steampunk, Chinese architecture and ideas all together. But the story is really good and I can't wait for season, I mean Book 2. Anyway random thoughts

- I hated Amon just like you normally hate the bad guy but then when he took Lin's bending I was like "You effing douche bag, how could you do that?" and then I cried a little and wanted his head torn off.

- The ending with Turrlok and Amon made me sad. Turrlok didn't deserve it in my opinion cause his time in the cell made him change but I guess it was for the best :(

- I didn't like how Korra got her powers back. I was hoping that the second season was gonna be her having to work to get them back by like visiting the old places Aang went to and connecting the spirits. It would have been good to cause then you could see the places 70 years on and it would be all like refreshing but at the same time (I forgot the words so I'll use...) memorable.

- Bolin, his fire ferret and Asami and my fave characters :)

= Pokemon Black/White 2 =
Some thoughts and opinions on the games.

- I love it <3 can't wait for the English release. How do I know, because I have the rom. I gave up trying to use the video walk through to get refrence shots from and got the rom. But its okay cause I plan on buying the games; both of them, and the books and probably the case and stylus pack so Ninti are getting enough cash from me, my little download means nothing. Plus I don't understand any of it so it doesn't really spoil anything for me XD

- Virbank City is le shit. I fucking just wanna urrfghdhgbdcx it so good. I love the town, I love Roxie, I love Pokewood (changing my dp of Kyurem eyes to Pokewood logo at some point), I love the tech area and I love the music. I just hate the gym concept. I mean I love it but Ninti used the idea I was gonna use for my dark gym. Except mine is an underground cabaret that if I can get it to work, will have animations so you can watch performances every now and again. So mine will be better /Getto women finger snap

-There was something I didn't like about it but I can't remember now so I guess I don't have anything bad to say about it

= Annoying KH fans =
Okay I can agree with them that it was annoying that Square released a whole bunch of games across a whole different platforms but I didn't argue. Heck I brought a brand new PSP in December - January just so I could play Birth By Sleep even though my cousin has one and I could of just borrowed it :P. But its just a lot of them are all hurry up and release KH3 on PS3 or stop releasing stand alone games, they don't introduce anything new OR (as I saw last night) hurry up and get back to the storyline of Sora. So here we go.

- Fair enough its been like forever since Kingdom Hearts 2 came out but Kingdom Hearts 3 I think is in production now cause I read somewhere that developers said they would begin working on it after a final fantasy game got released which I think is released now so yeah. But just for PS3. I mean by the time its released its more then likely going to end up being on the next PS cause I mean Ninti announced the WiiU, Microsoft will probably announce next Xbox between now and next year so after that Sony will be like fuck, we need to announce something and when it gets released BAM KH3 for the PS4. Oh I would love to see the arguments arise that are all "Fuck Square I brought a PS3 for KH3, rage, rage, rage". I don't know where I was going with this any more, moving on.

- The stand alone games do introduce new things, I mean look at Chain of Memories. It brought an entire new way to play the game into reality. Plus their is a lot of background story in those games. I mean BBS is the whole reason why Sora has to go on a quest to save the worlds shesh. Plus it has some good characters like Xion :( Now I'm sad. In my perfect world Roxas, Axel and Xion are still being biffles on top of the tower at the station.

- Seriously, The stand alone games that relate to Soras story line is CoM, Coded, Days, 3D (I still haven't played the demo for that even though its on my 3DS) and lets not forget the whole reason Sora has to the shit he has to in BBS. Oh look, thats all the stand alone games (except the weird phone one which is like not cannon or some shit). /Getto women finger snap

= Forgetting things =
I wanted to say more things but I forgot, I'm sleepy so I shall end with my anti rant on modern design or at least when people call it sterile that is a lot of my views and may need a little background check to sound factual. Good night fellow citizens.

- Modern design is synonymous of green design. The colour white is used because it acts as an insulator, it repels light so it doesn't get warm. A lot of eco-cooling systems require some really finicky building tricks which really on suit modern design. Plus you got the technology aspect of green design. Fair enough it can be used on old buildings like the period stuff up around Moonta and stuff however it stands out. We've grown up in a society were we associate technology with modern so of course, modern green technologies look best in a modern designed building. I do agree that modern can look sterile but thats its challenge. This is why you use sharp colours like the primary's to bring cool and warm tones and the use of blacks makes those colours pop. Plants are also a big part of green design for many different reasons but with modern, its to break the sterile look. One particular style that I'm in love with is a 'Green wall" were you take a wall put on a special housing and grow these really nice green clovers and shrubberies to make the place seem natural and inviting. Same reason for using wood in modern design, adding a natural feel to break the sterile.

Hi.

Through my random clicking of things on the web I have stumbled up this [link]

Yes it is an atomic lab for kids :iconwthplz:
I mean really, what were they thinking giving radioactive stuff to KIDS. The other day I was in a nuclear lab at the Uni for some Science thing but even then there wasn't any dangerous stuff, it was all fine. (We got to watch the half life of Indium which was pretty cool. I think it was Indium) These kids would have been playing with Zinc which isn't that bad, Ruthenium which I don't know what that does, Lead which is poisonous and Polonium 210. Ring any bells? Lets cast our mind back to 2006 to when some ex-KGB agent was poisoned with the stuff ([link] if you can't remember). And here you have kids like playing with it. The product only lasted for like a year because it got "too expensive", sure I'll believe that. Oh and on top of that its pretty much like "Oh, ran out of stuff ay' just send us this coupon and we'll send you back some more material." Hey thats probably how the killer of that Alexander guy got the Po-210, I mean that would be the last place to expect.

Anyway

The science thing was pretty tame. We had some fun stuff to do, got some free food and a whole bunch of Uni stuff. We had some tours of the buildings around campus (M2 building for advanced materials, Mawson Institute and some other one where they looked at chemical stuff in the environment (think Erin Brockovich) and cleaning of the chemicals). I couldn't care less about what they were saying and spent more time looking at the architecture of the buildings since they were all my modern and I've wanted to know what they looked like on the inside for ages. So yeah if any of you guys are living in South Australia and are doing year 12 Chem or Physics next year, see if your school does the Science Booster at UniSA, you might enjoy it.

So here I am just casually surfing the web for pictures of Marina Diamandis aka Marina and the Diamonds because I want to make a Marina sim and send her on tours and stuff when all of a sudden I stumble upon this picture [link] I mean, its the bloody Organisation XIII coat but all fashioned up. So now I'm thinking their might be other designers making outfits that look like KH outfits (keeping the idea that this is just sheer coincidence in mind) and for that matter maybe other game characters as well. I got my data back :iconexcitedplz:

Basically the guy came over today with some prehistoric portable hard drive that needs to be plugged into a power point to work. Anyway on it is my entire hard drive thats been recovered however it keeps on disconnecting so it is soooo annoying to transfer anything from there to my portable hard drive but hey, it's all back ^^

Second topic for this journal is B2/W2. I effing love it :). I've been watching a play through of it and am just so OMG, can't wait to get it in spring. Although I probably should finish White since I still haven't got around to doing that yet and I got it the week it came out.

Third topic for the journal, the announcement of the B2/W2 Tile Project. I mean it was obvious I would do it but here is the announcement for it anyway. I'm also gonna do it differently from the Black/White Tile Project. So rather then having a base and creating expansions I'm just gonna start from square one (Aspertia) and continue up. I'm also going to be continuing the Black and White project so people can have both versions of things or whatever, I mean, more variety is good.

So yeah thats it for now,
Ultimo out ^^

Got my laptop back :iconexcitedplz:

Although its soo weird. Because I lost my hard drive the whole laptop is different, like nothing is even the same. Like all my dell stuff is missing that I had. It feels like when a baby bird falls out if its nest then a human looks after it and puts it back in the nest then the mother bird doesn't love the baby bird because its been touched by a human and in this case my laptop is the baby bird. I dunno it's weird but either way time for some ...

Tile News

Well I haven't got word back from the data recovery people yet about what they could save so at the moment I don't know if I'm going to be able to recover tile stuff or not; so here is the deal. If I can get the tile stuff back I'm just gonna get my work and spend the rest of the month getting my resources back and if I can't get it back I'm gonna be put off it for a bit but I will start continuing with the project later on.

Lithium & Titanium

I've pretty much lost the data for my game which sucks but I'm still working on it, concept wise. Yes I've been busy just drawing things like fakemon's and features and what not so as soon as I get photoshop back I'm gonna scan in and touch them up and upload so I'm still uploading things but that won't be for a while cause I got a hell of a lot art stuff to finish for school.

Hello, managed to kidnap my sister's laptop to use so I could get on to catch up and clean out my messages and do some homework.

What's been happening people?

Me, well Delly (my laptop) might be coming home next week which is good I guess. My rents have decided to go with the data recovery cause at the moment its only a 77 dollar quote and they see what they can get off of it then they send us the list and we pick and buy off what we want. Dad said only get important stuff so if we can save my tiles and my Li&Ti stuff then I'll be happy.

School is shitty, people are stupid.

Eurovision time, the other reason why May is so amazing. I know it's pretty much almost finished, in couple hours actually I think but SBS only just played semi final 1 last night and 2 is tonight with the finale tomorrow night. All I can say was that it was so good absolutely loved it, especially Russia's entry. The song is so good and the old lady's are sooooo adorable cause they looks so lost and out of place singing Party for Everybody. Oh well, no one spoil it for me kay, it's the only thing I have to cheer me up this weekend.

Until next time,

Hi

If y'all been wandering were I've been of late well its been because my hard drive failed and I've lost everything. Like a good 2 years worth of data all gone in like a second. So pissed like you will not believe. To make matters worth it is sooooo expansive to fix everything. Right now to replace my hard drive cause its completely dead, its gonna cost me round $300 and to data recovery its gonna cost me somewhere between $500 to $2000 and if that doesn't work then I gotta go the next level up to like forensic data recovery which is $2000+ so as you can see I've been really stressed.

You can kinda tell it means all the tile stuff I've been doing is gone and the only stuff I have backed up is from when I started so all current things are gone, all my archived uploads are also gone which I kept in case of emergency. Umm so yeah, so probably no new tiles for a while. I'm trying to draw some new stuff. I had a master list of all fakemon for Li&Ti but I lost that so I'm using an old one which has like the first 50 so hopefully I get them drawn up to upload when my laptop comes back to me. I'm also trying to draw some sugi style trainers, I mean I'm failing but practice makes perfect although if I do give up I will be trying a style I really like and I might use that for Li&Ti artwork because well, I like to be different.

So important lesson kids, always back up yo shit. Even if it means you need to wait like 6 hours before you can do something else on your computer cause believe me, you don't want to be in a position where I am, losing all my important school work and stressing about what I am going to do.

Also if anyone wants to contact me the only way to do it is to note me because mobile dA is really stupid and that is the only way I can interact with anyone, although you can still comment here and I can read I just can't reply.
